We will undertake an ambitious project at carlosmb in the next two years: we will move to our new facilities all the 78 rpm records, the recording studio, both the library and collection of Carlos Martín Ballester, as well as a museum focused on the history of the recording sound in Spain. Because of the complexity of this project, 78 rpm records and cylinders will be only available at the Direct Sale section from now on. Thank you.
 




Since 2000 we deal with 78 rpm records and phonograph cylinders, having sold many thousand records throughout all these years, and gaining the confidence of hundred of collectors worldwide. Therefore, we have large experience in this field, moreover if we consider that we started collecting long before that year.

We do have the largest archive in the 1895-1960 period (circa) of 78 rpm records that were pressed or recorded in Spain, with a stock of 100.000 78 rpm records. We are based in Madrid, so we are speciallized in the rich spanish production of all genres, although we also have many other records pressed in different countries.

We usually sell records at fixed price through our Direct Sale service, on a "first come, first served" basis. Wants lists are welcome.

Finally, as a flamenco aficionado myself, I do collect and research 78 rpm records and phonograph cylinders of this musical genre.
